Abstract:
 A new multi-dimensional interpolation is proposed in the advection phase
of CIP (Cubic-Interpolated Propagation) scheme. The procedure is split into
successive operations of one-dimensional substeps. Less diffusive results
are obtained for linear advection equations. In a two-dimensional simulation
of hydrodynamic explosion, the fine vortex structure is described by using
the new interpolation.
