Title: Waterproofing the Heme Pocket

Abstract: 
 Waterproofing the heme pocket plays important role in heme reconstitution,
dissociation, and affinity of ligands such as oxygen, carbon monooxide and
so on. In this paper, some myoglobin mutants, whose waterproofing heme
pockets were destroyed, were constructed and measured heme dissociation
rates and structures.
