Though the theoretical predictions regarding their existence were made as early as 1916, however, the news regarding first experimentally obtained compound appeared only in 1962. Since then theory and experimentalist have been contributing to the design and synthesis of novel noble gas compounds. In this seminar, I wish to initially present a brief history of discovery of noble gas and their compounds, and, later discuss about the newly designed noble gas compounds. The nature of bonding shall be discussed based on the results obtained with Energy Decomposition Analysis (EDA) and Atoms-In-Molecule (AIM) approach. The focus shall be mainly on interaction of different noble gas with noble metals (Cu, Ag, Au). ***********************************************************
