Oct. 18th, 3:00 pm (Almost one hour) Place : Seminar Room (4F), Graduate School of Information Science Abstract : Monoclonal antibody against Mycobacterium leprae was obtained. Checking the existence of this antibody let someone know if he was infected. For this object, synthetic antigen PGL1 was obtained and has been used as a test agent. PGL1 which lacks 3- or and 6- methyl group, which has -glucose and or -rhamnose has less or no activity for antibody. The conformational analysis of model compound PGL1 using computer has been made, because correlation between structure and activity was observed. ***********************************************************
